Christians sometimes veer into cultural isolation; only reading Christian books, attending Christian events, commiserating with Christian friends. Someone called this life in the Christian ghetto. Some veer into cultural immersion. When Paul visited Athens, he was neither culturally isolated nor immersed in culture. Paul’s conversation with the Athenians is a case study in engaging culture.
