Christmas Tree

The next discussion group will meet Thursday, December 1, 7:00pm at Twain’s. The topic is Pagan Influence on Christmas. More information can be found on the Discussion Group page.

Christmas falls on a Sunday this year and we want everyone to be at home with their family on Christmas morning. Mark your calendar. For that weekend, we are moving our worship gathering day and time to Christmas Eve at 5:30 p.m.

We will serve our annual Thanksgiving meal to the men of Clifton Sanctuary. The date is Nov. 23 and workers should arrive at the Veritas worship site at 6 p.m. If you’ve not experienced this before, we wait hand and foot on these men and the staff at Clifton and serve an amazing Thanksgiving meal catered by Bridge Catering. Don’t miss it. It’s a great way to start the holidays.

Our worship site has endured multiple floods and, well, 60 years of traffic. We’re currently in the midst of a modest renovation that will create a cleaner space. We’re not asking visitors to pardon our construction. We invite you to celebrate it. The renovation should be complete sometime close to Thanksgiving. Click here to see the work in progress.

Have you ever loved someone so much that you wanted to declare it to the world? Announce it on the loudspeaker at Turner Field? Rent a billboard? Share it with everyone you know? Baptism is the public declaration “I love Jesus.” This Sunday, Oct. 16 at 10:30, we will celebrate a baptism worship gathering at Veritas Church. Join us.
