RSVP No Longer Required for Worship.

Veritas Church is open for on-site worship. We will livestream our worship for those who want to continue to worship from home. Masks are required for attendance, however you may now REMOVE your mask during the service, while seated. When you get up and move around the sanctuary, please put your mask back on.

Gathering Together

While it’s wonderful to gather together again in worship, we understand the importance of following recommended guidelines for mitigating risk associated with the spread of COVID-19. We believe that this is part of our calling to love one another, so we have put some safety measures into place that everyone will be required to follow when participating in on-site worship. Everyone is welcome. We are continuing to monitor developments with COVID-19 and are committed to following recommendations of local, state, and national officials. We will post updates.

What to expect

The service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Because we will be doing temperature checks at the door, we ask that everyone arrive early so there is ample time to accomplish this.

Children are welcome, and will be dismissed during worship to attend the kid’s ministry next door. Volunteers and children above 3 years of age are required to wear masks until further notice.

Parties (whether individuals who wish to sit alone, friends who desire to worship together, or families) will be seated at least 6 ft. apart in the sanctuary. Everyone is asked to keep a distance of 6ft from anyone who is not a member of their party throughout their time in the building.

Communion: Individually wrapped elements will be placed in the seats.

For the foreseeable future, we will not have a hospitality table.

The service will be live-streamed for those who need to join virtually, and it will be recorded for viewing later.

Requirements during your visit

Let’s love each other well.

Jesus calls us to love each other, and one way in which we do that is to care for each other’s needs as we would our own. In this spirit, we ask that everyone who participates in on-site worship abide by these guidelines not only to protect themselves but to protect others also.

Stay home if you are sick.

If you have a fever of 100 F or greater or are experiencing any symptoms, please stay home. We will be doing temperature checks for everyone who enters the building in an effort to mitigate this risk.

Social distance at least 6 feet apart

While you are allowed to enter the building and sit together as a family or self-identified group, we ask that you remain 6 feet away from others.

Wash your hands frequently.

Bathrooms are equipped with filled soap dispensers and hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the accessible spaces. We request that you use them frequently to keep your hands clean.

Thank you.  We look forward to worshipping together with you again!
